Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that it and Colopl, Inc. (Colopl) have entered into a comprehensive cross-licensing agreement.

The agreement between Capcom and Colopl allows comprehensive cross-licensing of patent rights related to game development that are owned by each party. The purpose of this more wide-reaching agreement is to give both parties even greater freedom in game development than was possible under exiting cross-licensing, and to further promote the production of captivating content. Capcom aims to leverage the patent rights granted in this cross-licensing agreement in future titles it develops in order to deliver even more exciting content to a wide audience of game players.
