Articles of Incorporation

In establishing a stock company, Articles of Incorporation, which sets forth the primary rules that specify the entities and activities of the corporation, must be prepared in accordance with Article 26 of the Commercial Code of Japan.
The Articles of Incorporation of the stock company must specify and record the matters stipulated by the Commercial Code, including the purpose and trade name of the company.
