Effect of Earthquake in the Tohoku Region on Business Operations

Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) extends its condolences to everyone who has been affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck the Tohoku region of Japan on March 11, 2011.
   At present, this catastrophe has affected the business operations of Capcom as follows.

1.　Damage to amusement arcades

Capcom’ s amusement arcades in the Tohoku and Kanto regions has suspended operations at 10 facilities because of damage to buildings, flooding caused by broken water pipes, damage to amusement machines or other problems.

2.　Outlook

Capcom is currently conducting a thorough examination of damage caused by the earthquake. An announcement will be made promptly if a significant impact on results of operations in the current fiscal year is foreseen.
