Monster Hunter Now In-Person Event Confirmed for Osaka!
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that it will cooperate with Scopely Explore, Inc. to host Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026: Osaka, an in-person event to be held in Namba, Osaka, over two days from Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, November 15, 2026.
Monster Hunter Now is a location-based game in the Monster Hunter series, developed and published by Scopely Explore, Inc. In the game, players take on the role of hunters and enjoy hunting experiences by tracking and battling vividly lifelike monsters that appear in the physical world.
This marks the second paid in-person event and the first one in two years for Monster Hunter Now, following Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2024: Shibuya, which was held in Shibuya, Tokyo, in 2024. This time, the event will take place in Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka. While exploring the city, participants will be able to enjoy the unique hunting and exploration experiences offered by Monster Hunter Now in addition to experiencing the many attractions of Osaka. Leveraging the unique features of the location-based game, the event will also encourage interaction among players and foster community building through experiences that blend the digital and real worlds.
Through this initiative, Capcom aims to expand consumer touchpoints within the Monster Hunter brand. At the same time, the company looks to enhance brand value and grow the user base over the medium to long term by attracting new users and strengthening engagement with existing players.
