Capcom Pro Tour Online 2021 Esports Tournament Series
Nearly Doubles Scale Globally!

– With 32 events in 19 global regions, Capcom brings new form of
entertainment to the world –

Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that the Capcom Pro Tour Online 2021, its year-long series of esports tournaments featuring its popular Street Fighter franchise, will begin with an April 17, 2021 event in Japan and in total will feature 32 online events in 19 regions worldwide.

The Capcom Pro Tour Online 2021 will be held online, with athletes participating remotely to continue to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Tour will feature 1-on-1 battles fought over a total of 32 events in 19 regions around the globe and will run from April 17, 2021 to January 23, 2022. Capcom looks to further increase participation of athletes and fans by nearly doubling the number of tournaments and regions compared to the previous year, including a tournament in the newly added South Africa. The intense drama of the tournaments will be broadcast worldwide featuring commentary in English and Japanese via Capcom’s official channels available on various streaming platforms, with further multilingual support planned for the future. Moreover, plans are currently underway for the 2021 seasons of Street Fighter League: Pro-JP and Street Fighter League: Pro-US, which feature 3-on-3 team battles.
