Notice Regarding COVID-19 Infection (as of August 5)
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) has confirmed an additional case of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in one of its employees who works in Osaka (as of August 5, a total of three Group employees have contracted the virus).
The last day the employee in question reported to work was July 6, after which they have worked from home. As such, no other employees have had high-risk contact with this individual at Capcom’s offices. Additionally, Capcom has received confirmation from the local public health center that this case poses no risk of further infection at its offices.
Capcom is committed to prioritizing the safety of employees, their families, our business partners and the public and is working with the relevant authorities in carrying out the necessary measures to prevent the spread of infection. Further, the company hopes for a speedy recovery for this employee and will offer its support.
