Notice about establishment of a consolidated subsidiary
Capcom Co., Ltd., hereby announces that it was decided to establish consolidated subsidiary in Korea that will start operations on May 7, 2007. The details of the establishment are as follows.- Objective for establishment :
In order to have competitiveness in the worldwide market, it is essential for us to expand home video game business and online game business.
In particular, Korea is expected to have further growth due to occupation of major shares in online game market and expansion of each hardware maker in home video game market.
Under these circumstances, we decided to establish consolidated subsidiary in Korea to accelerate the business expansion in Asia for implementation of growth scenario. We will enhance the profit through this establishment.
