CSR Activities

Capcom understands the importance of its corporate social responsibility and has provided opportunities for children to experience working at a game company in the past as one way to fulfill this responsibility. We believe that games have the power to create a culture of entertainment and the power to move people with unique emotional experiences. Through our creative products, Capcom strives to foster a wide range of emotions and sensitivity in children that will help to someday enrich future cultural growth.

In order to achieve this vision, Capcom has not only invited elementary and junior high school students to visit the company since 2005, but also has actively pursued other efforts to support learning such as producing the educational book "Secrets of Video Games" with Gakken Co., Ltd. to present to schools and libraries across Japan. Moreover, we have initiated a long-term program for supporting education in junior and senior high schools across Japan in cooperation with the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. and the Japan Securities Dealer Association.

Capcom will continue to create "Entertainment Culture" by delivering highly innovative software to excite our customers with a higher level of game entertainment.
Through our continuing efforts and local activities to help develop a culturally-rich society, we hope to have proven our company to be worthy of the public's trust.
